- Remove the bat pen from the black handle. Put the pen down.
- Pull apart the Autograph Assistant. You don't have to remove the bat handle.
- Pull the unit apart slowly so the ball doesn't fall to the ground and ruin the autograph and ball. If on too tight, ask an adult for help.
- Keep the ball in the bottom piece. Place a protective cover over the autograph and ball and push until it becomes snug. Now pick up the ball and place the other cover over the other side and push the covers together. They shouldn't overlap. Place the ball back into the bottom piece with the autograph facing up.
- Place the top piece of the Autograph Assistant back over the ball and lock it with the bottom piece. Make sure it’s on tight. *Note - If you didn't remove the bat handle, just align it so it goes into the top hole. Push the handle all the way up and make sure everything is now tight. Re-check it.
- Replace the pen all the way into the handle. Align the ball so the autograph is centered.
- You are now ready for display...ENJOY!
